Silver Spring, MD: IBSS was awarded a two year contract with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration ( NOAA) OCIO to support HSPD-12 and M-19-17 under the Identity, Credentialing, and Access Management (ICAM) support services program. IBSS will further modernize NOAA’s Identity Management to provide stronger authentication services for its community.
IBSS has been a partner in the identity transformation and implementation for NOAA since 2015. IBSS has previously architected, developed, and implemented a NOAA-wide ICAM system which provides Single Sign-On and Two-Factor authentication to all NOAA systems. IBSS has helped NOAA migrate over 300 applications to the new system.
Through this new contract, IBSS will continue to drive adoption and Identity Management enhancements to further NOAA OCIO’s service delivery goals and enhance NOAA’s security posture. We will support NOAA’s cloud initiatives by providing secure access to NOAA cloud environments through ICAM.
