IBSS Awarded Contract with NOAA’s Southeast Fisheries Science Center to Provide Administrative, Clerical, and Program Support
Silver Spring, MD – August 2023:
IBSS, a leading government contractor providing services for environmental science and engineering (including oceans, coasts, climate, weather, and satellite); cybersecurity and enterprise information technology; and professional management services; was awarded a recompete contract with NOAA’s Southeast Fisheries Science Center (SEFSC) to provide administrative, clerical, and program support.
IBSS will support SEFSC by providing the following services: Financial Planning and Budgeting; Financial Reporting; Variance Analysis; Financial Management and Monitoring; Financial Assistance and Contract Administration Support; Financial System Support; Communication Support and Administrative Updates to SEFSC Website; and Management Assistance with Managing Scientific Permits, Applications, and Renewals for State, Federal, and Foreign Agencies.

The Southeast Fisheries Science Center provides the scientific advice and data needed to effectively manage the living marine resources of the Southeast region and Atlantic high seas. We work closely with NOAA Fisheries Southeast Regional Office to provide independent, objective science.
Our multidisciplinary research informs natural resource management. Fisheries management councils, fisheries commissions, and federal, state and local agencies depend on our science to make decisions that protect and conserve the region’s living marine resources.
