We care about the future of our employees as much as we appreciate their work. We offer immediate vesting and company match on our 401k plan.  Employees may contribute up to a federal maximum contribution and we will contribute a matching percentage.

Professional Development

We offer training, certification, and continuing education reimbursement to full time employees. We also sponsor workshops, seminars, certification courses, and other areas of professional development.

PTO Donation

We recognize that employees may face a medical emergency or major disaster resulting in the need for additional time off in excess of their available paid time-off leave balance. To address this, eligible employees will be allowed to donate accrued vacation leave hours from their unused balance to their co-workers in need of additional paid time off resulting from a medical emergency or major disaster, in accordance with the requirements of the program and related policy.

Volunteerism

We value the communities in which our employees live as much as we value our employees. We encourage and support employees to volunteer in their communities to positively impact people and  the environment. We also offer time off to volunteer.

Internships

We recognize that students and recent graduates entering the workplace benefit greatly from opportunities to explore the work environment, receive mentoring and support from seasoned professionals, and continue to learn and grow as they pursue their careers.

Our internship program helps professionals just entering the workforce gain all-important skills and experience. Each year, we hire 8-10 undergraduate and graduate students in a wide range of fields, match them with mentors, and give them a collaborative, collegial environment to succeed. Several interns go on to be employees, which benefits both them and our company.

Cyber Apprenticeship Program

IBSS also created our Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Program, which we call our “HERO” program because it Helps Educate and Realize Opportunities, to develop a cybersecurity workforce to meet the needs of its clients and ourselves. Our program  leads to obtaining in-demand industry certifications and a proprietary hands-on lab that facilitates  the skills necessary to complete tasks  performed by cybersecurity professionals in: compliance, incident response, security architecture, security engineering, and security operations. Further, the program emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, researching, speaking, and writing – skills cyber professionals need to achieve success in this exciting and continuously expanding field.

iLabs

IBSS launched iLabs to prepare our workforce for cutting-edge technologies in cybersecurity and provide useful proof of concept for innovative solutions. IBSS iLabs will demonstrate proficiency in current and next-gen technologies through partnerships with solution providers and a configurable, independent environment. With this autonomy, IBSS engineers can emulate current and potential future client environments without touching government-procured or finished resources.
