IBSS was awarded a task with NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) West Coast Region (WCR) to provide senior-level executive and administrative assistance to the WCR Regional Administrator’s Office (RAO). This task was awarded through our existing WCR Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contract that provides professional, technician, and administrative support services to WCR.
WCR uses science to sustainably manage marine resources in the west coast region, including sustainable fisheries, protected resources, aquaculture, and environmental analyses.
Our support will enable WCR’s Associate Deputy Regional Administrator, Policy and Planning Branch Chief, Communications Branch Chief, and Seattle-based team to focus on mission-critical activities which lead to healthier fish stocks, thriving marine trust resources, vibrant ocean and coastal habitats, and economic stability for fishing and aquaculture communities.
The IDIQ covers a large geographic footprint, covering Idaho, Alaska, the Pacific coast (Washington, Oregon, and California) and the Pacific Islands, including Hawaii.
NMFS has offices in Portland, Seattle, Roseburg, Ellensburg, Boise, Long Beach, San Diego, Juneau, and Honolulu but services under this task are for the Regional Administrators Office in Seattle, WA.
