IBSS was awarded a Task Order with NOAA Fisheries to provide executive level administrative support to the West Coast Region’s Office of Sustainable Fisheries Division (SFD) through the U.S. Program of the Pacific Salmon Commission (PSC).
The PSC supports implementation of the Pacific Salmon Treaty and provides logistical support for the U.S. Section of the Pacific Salmon Commission, and through work with Regional Fishery Management Organizations in developing federal policies and regulations for fishing in waters off the west coast.
The SFD implements policy objectives and provides development, implementation, and monitoring of fishery management measures.
IBSS will provide the following services that will support PSC’s mission:
- Maintain records
- Support travel operations
- Act as a point of contact between various offices and organizations
- Provide technical monitoring support of PCR grants
