IBSS awarded contract to provide user support and consultation to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Office of Protected Resources (OPR). The work involves the following tasks:
• Develop and support out-of-the-box and custom SharePoint solutions using scripts, web parts and features pertaining to agency objectives and goals, public programs, education, research, and other initiatives. Coordinates with the IT manager to ascertain projects are appropriate in concept, content, and presentation.
• Project monitoring to include: determining priorities, objectives, potential audiences of diverse material created for the NMFS’s website, balancing competing priorities, developing project schedules, testing modules, debugging errors and ensuring effective and timely completion of SharePoint projects.
• Providing strategic expertise and direction on future implementation and presentation of online content in SharePoint projects and initiatives, offering expert guidance to staff and management on planning and development of effective web content and its appropriate presentation in current and future online projects.
• Participating on project teams, in key meetings and through consultation with Fisheries staff to ensure that the SharePoint service plays a role in the agency’s strategic goals and program objectives.
