IBSS provides budget analyzing support to manage the Office of Protected Resources (OPR) budget, coordinates with Divisions in developing spending plans, and recommends allocations and modifications to the Division and Chief and Administrative Officer. Moreover, IBSS develops, analyzes, and evaluates new or modified OPR programs and management processes, develops draft directives, policies, and procedures issues by NOAA Department of Commerce. Also, IBSS assists the Administrative Officer in the daily input of financial data, maintaining the budget database, data entry into the NMFS financial management system, and assists in budget planning and execution.
IBSS is awarded an additional task order to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries (NMFS), Office of Protected Resources (OPR)
