IBSS is pleased to help the AFSC Office of Fisheries Information Systems (OFIS) in its mission to develop and operate cutting-edge Information Technology Systems. IBSS experts will propel the evaluation and implementation of advanced new information systems, including workflow automation, GOOGLE APPS FOR GOVERNMENT, and the NMPS InPort platform. These exciting projects will improve all aspects of the AFSC Intranet, to support decision-making, to advance business planning, and to help AFSC staff to answer questions and perform routine work. Through these efforts, IBSS will help the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to disseminate the results of federally-funded research work, and meet the White House mandate to increase Public Access to Research Results (PARR).
IBSS has been selected by the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC) to provide enhanced Business Process support
