The Office of Justice Programs under the Department of Justice (DOJ) administers more than $8 billion in federal funds awarded through grants to State, Local, and Private Organizations. Through its grant programs, OJP provides federal leadership in developing the Nation’s capacity to prevent and control crime, improve the criminal and juvenile justice systems, increase knowledge about crime and related issues, and assist crime victims. OCIO develops and implements Information Technology (IT), policies and procedures to support the OJP mission, supporting a user base composed of approximately 1200 staff and contractors.

IBSS will be supporting Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) at the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) Information Security Program with the following tasks:

• IT Security Program Management
• Security Operations, Engineering & Continuous Diagnostics and Monitoring (CDM)
• Monitoring, Analysis, Detection and Incident Response Reporting
• Vulnerability Assessment and Application Security Support
• Disaster Recovery / Continuity of Operations (DR/COOP) Support
• Security Engineering Develop, Enhancements and Implementation
• Security Authorization and Risk Management Certification and Accreditation Support
• Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Support
• Audit and Audit Liaison Support
• IT Security Training
