Silver Spring, MD, June 2022:
IBSS will assist STC on a NOAA Spectrum Radio Frequency task order to develop a Spectrum Management Website for the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS).
Under this ProTech Satellite award, IBSS will create a content management system (CMS) for NESDIS. This Drupal-based intranet website will provide Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) events reporting, tracking, and query and spectrum risks.
The interactive website will support spectrum-dependent activities, spectrum filing forms, spectrum supportability risk analyses, and other tools for NESDIS and offer general NESDIS users the ability to obtain information about the Spectrum Management Office (SMO) functions and detailed information about the spectrum used by NESDIS systems. This information is then shared with other departments and is ultimately used to secure life, property, and economic prosperity.
