Silver Spring, MD September 2020:
IBSS was awarded a five-year $10M Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC), a research branch of NOAA Fisheries, to provide a full range of information technology (IT) support services.
The AFSC studies Alaska’s marine life and ecosystem and works toward a sustainable use of living marine resources.
IBSS has served AFSC for five years. Through this BPA, IBSS will continue to provide IT services that support applications and tools that are critical to the AFSC science mission including:
- IT service delivery
- IT program support
- Solution-related enabling services
- Technical support for all phases of system planning and design through deployment and operations
- IT security, independent assessments, and independent reviews
