In support of NMFS’ mission to enhance and sustain the infrastructure support, operational capacity, and quality of services, IBSS evaluates and implements necessary processes using NOAA provided web collaboration tools and technologies. These technologies include Google Apps for Government, NMFS InPort, and NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI). Utilizing these tools, IBSS communicates AFSC policies and procedures, coordinate managing all AFSC activities to meet the Public Access to Research Results (PARR) mandates, and maintain all aspects of the AFSC Intranet in supporting decision-making, business planning, and more.
