OMB advises, support, and guidance across the spectrum of financial and administrative processes. Thus, OMB utilized IBSS to support their administrative activities including processes associated with preparing group and conference travel, oversight and monitoring activities with respect to travel card usage, processing requests for travel and travel documentation (i.e. passports), and other administrative tasks. These tasks involve coordinating with NOAA and external partners, serving as a liaison between NOAA and NMFS Financial Management Centers, running reports (i.e. travel card delinquencies), maintaining the office’s web presence (i.e update and upload documents), and make recommendations for improvements), drafting process improvements and user guides, maintaining documentation on travel metrics, and more.
